Production of the forearc shelf-basin by discontinuous transport of the forearc shelf. The T-thrust exists as for SPT, but it is locked beneath the forearc intermittently. The south limb of the forearc shelf-basin is produced by transport and perhaps by underplating as well. The north limb is produced by displacements subbottom on the RTB-thrust as the forearc shelfis being transported by the Pacific plate. Tectonic accretion propagates the forearc oceanward.
