The metabolic functions of the Mandãla organism render the cave-chamber as a microcosmic model of the platenary biosphere as a whole, self-regulating system. Their spatial organization follows a similar layout, from the materially dense to the subtle and etheric. Enclosing all, the sanctuary's dome is an oblate spheroid echoing the flattened-at-the-poles spherical shape of the Earth.
